Securing Canada’s Future in a Climate Changing World
The National Round Table on the Environment and the Economy (NRTEE) hosts a unique round table forum entitled "Securing Canada’s Future in a Climate Changing World," which marks the organization’s 20th anniversary, Ottawa, Ont., October 30, 2008. Forum participants examine how climate change is expected to affect Canada’s environmental and economic security through the lenses of our ecosystems, our energy economy, and our Arctic environment. In the second round table panellists Andrew Coyne (national editor, Maclean’s), Elyse Alan (president and CEO, GE Canada), Duncan Hawthorne (president and CEO, Bruce Power) and others discuss securing Canada's energy economy. The discussion is moderated by Bernard Lord (president and CEO, Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association).
