Public Record - 2008 CDFAI Annual Conference


At an annual conference hosted by the Canadian Defence and Foreign Affairs Institute, a panel of experts discuss foreign policy and defence issues, Ottawa, Ont., October 27, 2008.

This year, expert speakers from academia, the public service, and the corporate world will seek to shed light on current cross-border issues between Canada and the United States and develop amicable solutions for the challenges facing both nations.

The final session of the conference is entitled "Territorial and Resource Issues" and features Greg Lyle (director, Innovative Research Group), Brian Flemming (CM, QC, DCL, consultant), Diddy Hitchins (professor emerita, Political Science International Studies, University of Alaska Anchorage), and Mead Treadwell (chair, U.S. Artic Research Commission).
