Public Record - Canada–France Symposium (Part 5 of 6)


The Senate of Canada and the Canada–France Interparliamentary Association host the Canada–France Symposium, entitled “The Legacy of France in Canada Over 400 Years,” Ottawa, Ont., November 14–15, 2008. This event is being held in commemoration of the 400th anniversary of the founding of Quebec in 1608.

This November 15, 2008 session featured a speech by Jacques Palard (Institut d’Études politiques de Bordeaux, France) entitled "France–Canada–Quebec relations since 1960: complementary interests and contemporary challenges."
