Public Record - Canada–France Symposium (Part 6 of 6)

The Senate of Canada and the Canada–France Interparliamentary Association host the Canada–France Symposium, entitled “The Legacy of France in Canada Over 400 Years,” Ottawa, Ont., November 14–15, 2008. This event is being held in commemoration of the 400th anniversary of the founding of Quebec in 1608.

This November 15, 2008 session featured a speech by Yannick Gasquy-Resch (Institut d'Études Politiques d'Aix-en-Provence) entitled "Cultural exchanges between the French, the Quebecois and French-Canadians since 1960: towards new relations?"
