McGill University hosts a conference entitled "Public Policy in Crisis? Understanding Policy Making in Canada," Montreal, Que., March 26–27, 2009.

This March 27th session features a panel discussion entitled “Do Media and Public Opinion Really Matter?.” The panellists are Christopher Waddell (School of Journalism and Communication, Carleton University), Sandra Buckler (consultant), Nik Nanos (president and CEO, Nanos Research), and Alain Dubuc (journalist, La Presse). After speaking, panellists field questions from conference attendees.
