Public Record - Rebooting the Economy


The Public Policy Forum hosts a conference entitled "Rebooting the Economy: What Is the Role of Government in the Transforming Economy?," Ottawa, Ont., June 1–2, 2009.

In this June 2nd session, a panel of speakers discuss mitigating the consequences of the recession. The panellists are Rob Wright (deputy minister, Department of Finance), Serge Coulombe (professor, University of Ottawa) and Jim Stanford (chief economist, Canadian Auto Workers). David Mitchell (president and CEO, Public Policy Forum) makes opening remarks. After speaking, panellists field questions from audience members.
