Public Record - Ignite Change Now! Global Youth Assembly 2009


The John Humphrey Centre for Peace and Human Rights presents “Ignite Change Now! Global Youth Assembly 2009,” Edmonton, Alberta, July 30–August 2, 2009. This year’s theme is entitled “Youth Building Communities.” Local, national, and international youth organizations work together to create projects and partnerships and learn to be the architects of change in their communities and around the world.

This August 1st session, entitled “Real Places, Real People, Real Change,” features John Thome (co-founder of the television series "4Real"), Alyssa Dawamana Macy (co-director of NVision), and Liz Evans (executive director and founder of PHS Community Services Society).
