Public Record - Ignite Change Now! Global Youth Assembly 2009


The John Humphrey Centre for Peace and Human Rights presents “Ignite Change Now! Global Youth Assembly 2009,” Edmonton, Alberta, July 30–August 2, 2009. This year’s theme is entitled “Youth Building Communities.” Local, national and international youth organizations work together to create projects and partnerships, as well as find out how they can be the architects of change in their communities and around the world. In this session entitled "Leveraging Privilege for Social Change", youth explore the privileges and wealth in their lives and how to use them as leverage to have a bigger positive social impact.
