Approximately 1,500 people gather in Montreal, Que., on September 17, 2009, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the 1984 swearing-in of Prime Minister Brian Mulroney's first Progressive Conservative government. Speeches are presented by Jean Charest (Premier of Quebec), Stephen Harper (Prime Minister of Canada), Michael Wilson (Canada’s ambassador to the United States), Caroline Mulroney (Mr. Mulroney’s daughter), and Mr. Mulroney.
