Public Record - 2009 Canadian Institute for the Administration of Justice Conference

The Canadian Institute for the Administration of Justice holds its 35th annual conference in Ottawa, October 1–2, 2009. This year's conference theme is “Taking Remedies Seriously.” During this October 2nd session, entitled “Remedies Against Public Bodies,” legal professionals discuss the relationship between rights and remedies. The speakers are David Stratas (partner, Heenan Blaikie), Geneviève Cartier (law professor, Université de Sherbrooke), and David Mullan (law professor, Queen’s University). Later, the speakers respond to questions from conference attendees.
