Sustainable Development Technology Canada holds its Cleantech Summit, entitled “Greening Canada’s Economy,” Ottawa, Ont., October 21, 2009. The first session on October 21st is entitled “From the Margins to the Middle of Canada's Economy: Making Cleantech Canada's New Economic Engine.” Sunil Paul (founder, Gigaton Throwdown) presents a speech. Douglas Clarke (Ensyn Technologies) moderates a panel discussion between Don Roberts (CIBC World Markets Inc.), Gerald Butts (World Wildlife Fund Canada), Ross MacLachlan (Lignol Energy), and Jayson Myers (Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters). Later, the speakers field questions from conference attendees.
