Public Record - 2009 Canadian Defence & Foreign Affairs Institute Conference


The Canadian Defence & Foreign Affairs Institute (CDFAI) and the Canadian International Council host their annual joint conference, Ottawa, Ont., November 2, 2009. This year's conference theme is “Canada's National Strategic Relations: NATO and NORAD.”

In the first panel presentation, Charles Doran (Johns Hopkins University), Joel Sokolsky (Royal Military College), and George Macdonald (former Deputy Commander-in-Chief of NORAD) discuss the future of Canada's role in the North American Aerospace Defense Command. After presenting their arguments, the panellists take questions from attendees, including former defence minister Bill Graham.
