The Institute of Parliamentary and Political Law holds its third Law and Parliament Conference, Toronto, Ont., November 12–14, 2009. This year’s conference theme is “Parliament and Government: Partners and Adversaries.”
In this November 13th session, academic researchers discuss the relationship between parliamentary law and the Crown’s financial initiative. The speakers are Lori Turnbull (Department of Political Science, Dalhousie University), Jennifer Dalton (research fellow, York Centre for Public Policy and Law), Don Desserud (associate dean, graduate studies, University of New Brunswick), and Dennis Baker (political science, University of Guelph).
