On November 24th, 2009, in Ottawa, the Atlantic Council of Canada held its 2009 fall Conference entitled "A New Strategic Concept for NATO." In the second panel discussion of the day, Ginte Damusis (Lithuania's ambassador to Canada) and Dr. Niels Lachmann (University of Montreal) discussed partnerships with other international organizations (EU, UN, among others) and NATO expansion.
