During two panel discussions in Toronto, Ont., December 7, 2009, speakers discuss the wide range of careers available within politics. The discussion is part of an annual conference held by Youth in Motion and brings young women together to encourage their participation in politics and government. First, Joan Spence (from the youth partnerships division of the Government of Ontario), Maria Van Bommel (a parliamentary assistant in the Ontario Ministry of Children and Youth Services), and Nanda Casucci-Byrne (the chief of staff for the Office of the Ontario Lieutenant-Governor) speak on the session topic. Later, Kathleen Wynne (Ontario Minister of Education) and Marolyn Morrison (Mayor of Caledon, Ont.) take to the stage to offer their perspectives on the issue.
