Public Record - Africa's New Frontier: Innovation. Technology. Prosperity.


On February 4th and 5th, 2010, in Ottawa, the International Development Research in collaboration with the Department
of Foreign Affairs and International Trade organized a conference entitled "Africa's New Frontier: Innovation. Technology. Prosperity." During their opening remarks, both International Trade Minister Peter Van Loan and Burkina Faso Ambassador Juliette Bonkoungou spoke about the rise of Africa and the many ways in which Canada–Africa relations support innovation on the continent.
