Public Record - 2010 British Columbia Budget


On March 2nd the 2010 provincial budget was tabled in the B.C. Legislature by Finance Minister Colin Hansen. The B.C. budget forecasts a deficit of $1.7 billion, an improvement from the $2.8-billion deficit from an updated forecast last September. The 2010–11 budget contained a few new programs for homeowners, no new major infrastructure spending, and lots of promises to capitalize on the momentum generated by the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.
