Public Record - Canada at 150: Rising to the Challenge – March 26 (Part 4 of 4)


On March 26–28, 2010, in Montreal, leading academics and policy experts from Canada and around the world will participate in "Canada at 150: Rising to the Challenge" , a non-partisan event organized by the Liberal Party of Canada. The three-day event has been described as a chance for "some of Canada's leading thinkers and doers to grapple with big issues facing our country."

Canadian Innovation: Generating and Leveraging Success

In the final panel discussion of the opening day, Linda Hasenfratz (CEO of Linamar Corporation), Tom Jenkins (executive chairman and chief strategy officer of Open Text), and Roger Martin (dean of the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto), discussed how Canada's next innovation success stories be written, and what can be done to foster further innovation. Following their discussion panelist responded to questions from the audience and online participants.
