Public Record - Canada at 150: Rising to the Challenge – March 27 (Part 2 of 5)

On March 26–28, 2010, in Montreal, leading academics and policy experts from Canada and around the world will participate in "Canada at 150: Rising to the Challenge" , a non-partisan event organized by the Liberal Party of Canada. The three-day event has been described as a chance for "some of Canada's leading thinkers and doers to grapple with big issues facing our country."

How Do We Care: The Future of Health and Healthcare

In the second panel discussion of day two of the conference, Dr. Alan Bernstein (executive director of the Global HIV Vaccine Enterprise), Dr. Marie-France Raynault (former director of social and preventive medicine at the Université de Montréal), and Dr. William Reichman (president and CEO of Baycrest) discussed what the priorities in medical research, health promotion, disease prevention and healthcare system sustainability should be in 2017. Following their discussion panellists responded to questions from the audience and online participants.
