On March 26–28, 2010, in Montreal, leading academics and policy experts from Canada and around the world will participate in "Canada at 150: Rising to the Challenge" , a non-partisan event organized by the Liberal Party of Canada. The three-day event has been described as a chance for "some of Canada's leading thinkers and doers to grapple with big issues facing our country."

Clean Energy and Canada’s Potential in the Low Carbon World: What’s Missing?

In the fourth panel discussion of day 2 of the conference Steven Guilbeault (co-founder of Équiterre), Nicholas Parker (executive chairman and co-founder of Cleantech Group), and others discussed how reducing emissions that cause climate change and securing the green jobs of tomorrow will help Canada achieve the right energy mix in 2017.
