Public Record - 2010 Nova Scotia Budget


On April 6th, 2010, Finance Minister Graham Steele delivered Nova Scotia's 2010 provincial budget. The NDP government is forecasting a deficit of $222.1-million in 2010–11 and is increasing the harmonized sales tax by two percentage points to 15 per cent, as of July 1st, generating $215 million in revenue this fiscal year.
