On June 16th, the inaugural G(irls)20 Summit took place in Toronto. The summit brought together one girl from each of the G20 countries, 10 days before the official summit. In the third presentation of the day, Reeta Roy, president and CEO of the MasterCard Foundation, discussed the economic prowess of girls and women. Following her presentation, Roy asked each of the 21 young women, one from each of the G20 nations and one from the African Union, to tell their story of how they got to the summit and what they hope to accomplish.
