On June 9th and 10th, 2010, in Ottawa, the Institute of Intergovernmental Relations at Queen's University and the Canadian Study of Parliament Group organized a conference entitled "The Crown in Canada: Present Realities and Future Options." The concluding session on June 10th featured conference organizer Paul Benoit, Senator Lowell Murray, Senator Hugh Segal and Senator Serge Joyal.
