Held in Berkeley, California from March 12th to 13th 2010, this conference examined the issues surrounding the North American relationship and its role in a changing world. This panel on March 12th examined the economic influences on the North American relationship. The presenters were Bradford DeLong (economics professor at UC Berkeley) and Rod Dobell (professor emeritus of public policy at the University of Victoria). Also present were Chrystia Freeland (U.S. managing editor, The Financial Times) and David Emerson (senior advisor, CAI Capital Management).
