The Judicial Nomination Process
On September 25th, 2010, the Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa held an event entitled "The Judicial Nomination Process." The first panel featured Eugénie Brouillet (Laval University) who examined the Quebec nomination process, Jacob Ziegel (University of Toronto) who discussed the federal regime and those of other Canadian provinces and Alan Tarr (Center for State Constitutional Studies, Rutgers University) who examined the process in the United States.
