Human Rights and Diverse Societies (October 7th).

The Global Conference on Human Rights and Diverse Societies was held October 7th to 9th, 2010 at McGill University in Montreal. The opening plenary on October 7th featured Irwin Cotler (former justice ,inister), Malalai Joya (Member of Parliament, Afghanistan), Denis MacShane (Member of Parliament, United Kingdom), Faith Pansy Tlakula, (Chief Electoral Officer, Electoral Commission of South Africa) and Marie Wilson (Commissioner, Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada).
