2010 CASIS International Conference
The Canadian Association for Security and Intelligence Studies (CASIS) held their annual conference in Ottawa from October 14th to 15th. This year's theme was "Understanding National Security". The first plenary session on October 14th was entitled "National Security: The State of the Debate." Wesley Wark from the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto delivered the academic perspective, Colin Freeze from the Globe and Mail delivered the media perspective and Ronald G. Atkey, Professor of National Security Law at Osgoode Hall (York University), delivered the practitioner perspective.
