Human Rights and Diverse Societies (October 9)

The Global Conference on Human Rights and Diverse Societies was held from October 7th to 9th, 2010 at McGill University in Montreal. In the first session on October 9th, panellists Jameel Jaffer (director of the American Civil Liberties Union), William Schabas (director of the Irish Centre for Human Rights at the National University of Ireland), and Tom Parfitt (The Guardian) discussed the consequences of post-9/11 security policies on minority and immigrant communities.
