Paths to Parliament
Held in Ottawa on November 19th, 2010, this conference, entitled "Paths to Parliament," brought together experts to discuss the routes to elected office in Canada. The title of the first session was "Women and Visible Minorities: Negotiating the Roadblocks." The participants were Jerome Black (McGill University), Mona Lena Krook (Washington University in St. Louis) and Sylvia Bashevkin (University College Toronto). The discussant was Hon. Hedy Fry, Liberal MP for Vancouver Centre.
