Paths to Parliament
Held in Ottawa on November 19th, this conference, entitled "Paths to Parliament," brought together experts to discuss the routes to elected office in Canada. The final session of day examined comparative perspectives of women and minorities getting elected to public office. The participants were Patti Tamara Lenard (University of Ottawa), Louise Carbert (Dalhousie University), Karen Bird (McMaster University) and Melissa Haussman (Carleton University).
