On December 3rd, 2010, in Ottawa, the Canadian Study of Parliament Group organized a conference on "Parliament and Congress." The first session examined the differences between the U.K. Parliament and the U.S. Congress and featured William McKay (former clerk of the British House of Commons) and Charles Johnson (former member of the U.S. House of Representatives).
