Public Record - Ten Years after 9/11: Did the World Learn Anything?

On September 8, 2011, a panel discussion entitled "Ten years after 9/11: Did the world learn anything?" was held at the University of Ottawa.

Discussion focuses on Islamic extremism around the world; the cost of defence measures; and the social, political, and psychological effects of extremism on society.

The panellists were Michel Drapeau (Common Law Section, University of Ottawa), Robert Fowler (Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, University of Ottawa), Louise Lemyre (Institute of Population Health, University of Ottawa), Costanza Musu (Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, University of Ottawa) and Karim H. Karim (School of Journalism and Communication, Carleton University). The panel was moderated by Former News Anchor Bernard Derome (Le Téléjournal).
