On October 7th, 2011, the 4Front Atlantic Conference took place at Pier 21 Canadian Museum of Immigration in Halifax. The conference examined and assessed the risks and opportunities for Atlantic Canada in light of the changing global economy.

In this second panel, entitled "Atlantic Canada in the New Global Economy: Drivers of Success," participants discussed innovation, human capital, financing and entrepreneurship as potential drivers of success. The panellists were Tom Jenkins (Executive Chairman, OpenText), Nancy Tower (CEO, Emera, Newfoundland & Labrador), Stephen Poloz (President, Export Development Corporation) and Andrea Feunekes (Co-CEO, Remsoft Inc.).
