Public Record - Canada's North Beyond 2011 - Human Capital and Economic Development

In the fifth session of the conference Canada’s North Beyond 2011, Paul Martin (the former prime minister of Canada) and Mary Simon (the president of Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami) discuss the importance of education and training for youth in northern communities as well as initiatives aimed at improving them through investments and community support.

The conference is taking place in Edmonton, Alta., from October 11 to 13, 2011, and is hosted by the Conference Board of Canada.
