The participants on the panel were Robert Pastor (American University, Washington D.C.), Gerald Butts (World Wildlife Fund-Canada), Stephen Clarkson (professor emeritus, University of Toronto) and Isabel Studer (Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico City).
