Public Record - The Arab Spring: One Year Later – Session 1

On February 16th, a conference examining the events and impact of the Arab Spring after its first anniversary was held at the University of Québec in Montreal.

The first session examined the question: "From Arab Spring to 'Islamist Winter': Can we call this a revolution?" The panellists were Marie-Joëlle Zahar, Vincent Romani, Sami Aoun and Stefan Winter, who are members of the Middle Eastern and North African Observatory at the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM).
