On April 12-14 in Montreal, a conference titled "After the Patriation: Taking Stock" marked the 30th anniversary of the patriation of the Canadian Constitution.

The final session on April 13, "The Significance of Québec’s Non-Adherence to the Constitution of 1982 on Citizens and the Political Community," featured Nadia Verrelli (Algoma University), François Rocher (University of Ottawa) and Christopher Manfredi (McGill University).
