On April 12-14 in Montreal, a conference titled "After the Patriation: Taking Stock" marked the 30th anniversary of the patriation of the Canadian Constitution.

The third session on April 14, "The Constitution: Current Legal and Political Issues," featured Irvin Studin (University of Toronto) and Alain Noël (Université de Montréal).
