Building on Rio + 20: Canada's role and priorities in a global green economy

On May 1st and 2nd, 2012, in Ottawa, Sustainable Prosperity organized a conference entitled "Building on Rio + 20: Canada's role and priorities in a global green economy." This conference marks the 20th anniversary of the Rio Earth Summit, which was intended to chart a course for global sustainable development.

The third panel of the day on May 1 entitled "A National Perspective: How is Canada Performing in “Greening” the Economy?," featured Alex Wood (Senior Director of Policy and Markets, Sustainable Prosperity), David McLaughlin (President & CEO, National Round Table on the Environment and the Economy), Scott Vaughan (Commissioner of the Environment and Sustainable Development, Government of Canada) and Jon Dogterom (Lead Advisor, Cleantech Practice, MaRS Discovery District).
