Building on Rio + 20: Canada's role and priorities in a global green economy

On May 1st and 2nd, 2012, in Ottawa, Sustainable Prosperity organized a conference entitled "Building on Rio + 20: Canada's role and priorities in a global green economy." This conference marks the 20th anniversary of the Rio Earth Summit, which was intended to chart a course for global sustainable development.

The third and final panel on May 2 was entitled "Canadian Mining in Canada and Abroad: How are we Performing?" The participants were Pierre Gratton (President and CEO, Mining Association of Canada), Ron Nielsen (Cliff Resources) and Alan Young (Director, Materials Efficiency Research Group).
