Michener Awards

On June 12, 2012 the 2011 Michener Award and the 2012 Michener-Deacon Fellowship for Journalism were presented at a ceremony at Rideau Hall in Ottawa. The Times Colonist in Victoria won the 2011 Michener Award for its reporting on a B.C. government policy that reduced support for people with developmental disabilities.
