Women in Politics: International Perspectives

On June 19th, Equal Voice organized a panel discussion in Ottawa. The participants gathered to hear some international perspectives and discuss the representation of women in parliaments around the world. The panellists were Else Berit Eikeland (Ambassador of Norway to Canada), Elena Stefoi (Ambassador of Romania to Canada), Edda Mukabagwiza (High Commissioner of the Republic of Rwanda to Canada) and Elizabeth May (Green Party Leader and MP for Saanich-Gulf Islands, B.C.). The discussion was moderated by Susan Smith (Principal, Bluesky Strategy Group).
