L'Institut du Nouveau Monde From August 16-19 in Montreal, L'Institut du Nouveau Monde held its 9th Annual Summer School. A panel discussion entitled "The U.S. in election mode" examined the impact the election result will have on the future policies of the country. Moderated by Christine Fréchette (coordinator, U.S. Studies summer school, CÉRIUM), the panel featured Guillaume Lavoie (executive director, Mission Leadership Québec, and researcher with the Centre for U. S. Studies of the Raoul-Dandurand Chair in Strategic and Diplomatic Studies, UQÀM) and Michel Auger (reporter and foreign correspondent for Radio-Canada in Washington).
