Keeping the Promise: the Path Ahead to Full Modern Treaty Implementation. This conference is organized by the Land Claims Agreements Coalition.

This first panel presentation focuses on Aboriginal inherent rights, self-governance and modern treaties in the international context. Panellists Emil Notti (former president of the Alaska Federation of Natives) and Sven-Roald Nystø (past president of the Norwegian Sami Parliament) discuss land claims agreements and the past and current state of Aboriginal affairs in their respective countries.
