Public Record - Right to Know Day 2013 (Part 2 of 4)

The second panel discussion on September 28th, entitled “Does effective accountability in public agencies require independent review bodies?,” includes Luc Juillet (University of Ottawa Graduate School of Public and International Affairs), Robert Marleau (City of Ottawa Integrity Commissioner), and Kevin Page (Canada’s former federal budget officer). Emmanuelle Latraverse (Ottawa bureau chief for Radio-Canada and host of “Les Coulisses du pouvoir”) moderates the discussion.

The University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Civil Law and the Office of the Information Commissioner of Canada are hosting this conference as part of "Right to Know Week," September 23–28, 2013. The purpose of RTK Week is to raise awareness about people's right to access government information while promoting freedom of information as essential to both democracy and good governance.
