“Rebuilding a Canadian model legislation on access to information” includes Duff Conacher (Democracy Watch and GoodOrg.ca Consulting), Vincent Gogolek (B.C. Freedom of Information and Privacy Association) and David McKie (CBC News Parliamentary Bureau).

The University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Civil Law and the Office of the Information Commissioner of Canada are hosting this conference as part of "Right to Know Week." The purpose of RTK Week is to raise awareness about people's right to access government information while promoting freedom of information as essential to both democracy and good governance.
