Public Record - Right to Know Day 2013 - Panel 4


"International standards for greater transparency" includes Arnold Amber (President, Canadian Journalists for Free Expression), Corinne Charette (Chief Information Officer, Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat), and Toby Mendel (Executive Director, Centre for Law and Democracy).

The University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Civil Law and the Office of the Information Commissioner of Canada are hosting this conference as part of "Right to Know Week." The purpose of RTK Week is to raise awareness about people's right to access government information while promoting freedom of information as essential to both democracy and good governance.
