Assembly of First Nations Special Chiefs Assembly

First Nation leaders from across Canada gather to engage on strategy and to address the priorities facing First Nation citizens. Jackson Lafferty (Northwest Territories Deputy Premier and Minister of Education, Culture and Employment) discusses the implementation of the Residential Schools curriculum in the Northwest Territories. AFN Legal Counsel Stuart Wuttke provides an update on the implementation of the Indian Residential School Settlement Agreement including outstanding issues and next steps. (December 12, 2013)
