Arar +10: National Security and Human Rights A Decade Later

In this final session of the conference, panellists provide an overview and concluding remarks, and continue their discussion of national security and human rights issues. The participants were Craig Forcese, associate professor of law at the University of Ottawa, and retired Canadian diplomat Gar Pardy. Author and human rights activist Monia Mazigh also addresses the audience. Mazigh is married to Maher Arar and played an active role in campaigning for his release from Syria in 2002.
