The Charlie Hebdo Massacre: When it comes to free expression, where do we draw the line?

The Canadian Committee for World Press Freedom and with Carleton University’s School of Journalism and Communication holds a panel discussion on the Charlie Hebdo massacre and issues of free expression that it raises. Moderated by Shawn McCarthy (National Business Correspondent, The Globe and Mail, and president of the Canadian Committee for World Press Freedom), the panel features Toby Mendel (co-founder, Centre for Law and Democracy, Halifax), Guy Badeaux (cartoonist, Le Droit, and CCWPF board member), Karim Karim (Professor, Carleton School of Journalism and Communication) and Catherine Cano (Executive director, news programs, RadioCanada).
